Psychotherapy

Through the encounter in a psychotherapeutic context, conditions can be created that enable growth, self-regulation, and change, as well as ways out of a crisis or challenging situation.

In an initial session, I invite you to reflect on whether you feel comfortable and well taken care of in my presence. Ask yourself if you are willing to confide your concerns to me, especially those that are difficult for you to discuss with other people.

In psychotherapy, I am pleased to accompany you in various areas, including:

– Challenging life situations
– Acute crises
– Stress, overwhelm, burnout
– Anxiety, panic attacks
– Psychosomatic illnesses
– Depression, lack of motivation, and social withdrawal
– Disturbing experiences from the past
– Loneliness
– Sleep disturbances
– Trauma – Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)
– Women-specific issues
– Grief and farewells

Please note that this list is not exhaustive, and I am here to help and support you with any other concerns or issues you may have.

During adolescence, you go through many phases of physical and emotional changes that you have to cope with. Additionally, it is often not easy to meet the demands of your environment (school, family, friends). Performance pressure, overwhelm, stress, self-doubt, searching for your own identity, and more are just some of the issues you may be dealing with.

In psychotherapy, I will accompany you through challenging life situations, including:

– Acute crises
– Conflicts with peers and/or your parents
– Coping with parental separation
– Experiencing violence
– Dealing with bullying or feeling isolated and excluded
– Difficulties with school and school refusal
– Fear of failure
– Anxiety and panic attacks
– Psychosomatic illnesses
– Lack of motivation and social withdrawal
– Feeling like life lacks purpose or meaning
– Coping with distressing experiences from the past
– Feelings of loneliness
– Shyness
– Doubts about self-worth
– Aggressiveness
– Sleep disturbances
– Trauma – Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)
– Grieving and farewells

Remember, this list is not exhaustive, and I am here to support you with any other challenges you may be facing during this important stage of your life.

Depending on your child’s age, play is the primary focus in the therapy session. Through play, your child can directly represent their „inner world,“ express emotions, and playfully depict everyday situations, sometimes using symbols.

I will accompany and support your child in this process. As your child grows older, especially during adolescence, conversations, incorporating creative media and role-playing, will gradually become more central to the therapy.

An essential part of psychotherapy with your child involves regular discussions with you as parents. Your willingness to participate in these discussions is of great importance and is seen as an indispensable part of the successful psychotherapy process with your child.

Couples-Therapy

A partnership can be thrown off balance by stress and relationship crises. The entanglement of a couple in conflict often profoundly changes communication, leading to a point of silence. Additionally, partners may feel abandoned and alone with their strong emotions.

Couples therapy allows for the restoration of dialogue, expression of the unspoken and unspeakable, and the discovery of solutions. In our couples therapy, we work with you as a therapist-couple:

We work in couples therapy with you as a therapist-couple

About me

About me

I am 56 years old and live with my family in Lower Austria. I was fortunate to grow up bilingual and have been influenced by encounters with people from different nations, allowing me to appreciate and integrate the diversity of various cultures into my life.

I have a deep love for the forest and find rejuvenation in nature. I have always been fascinated by how a plant can survive and transform into a magnificent form even under challenging conditions. In this sense, my life experiences have taught me that many things are possible, even when they may seem impossible at times.

My journey in life led me to work in social pedagogy with children and adolescents and as an equine therapist, which eventually guided me onto the path of psychotherapy. As of now, I can draw upon a wealth of experience as a psychotherapist, working with children, adolescents, adults, and couples.
